1. What technological breakthroughs?
	AI but not necessarily soon.

2. ... negative effect was realized ... . Questioner is victim of
pop ideology. I can't predict which way ideology will swing, but
with a collection of new inventions.

3. What new project? Lots, but I'll tell you about CBCL.

4. Turing test. It has turned out to be vague. Some people
are easily fooled, especially if not on their guard and not
familiar with limitations of present programming.

5. Key to my success is a different point of view.

of necessary inventions and standardizations involving communication.

1. Universal library,

NS

freedom of publication reducing effect of hit-and-run journalism
and increasing rationality.

freedom of information act in computer file,

bill paying and other commercial interactions by computer.

to know why. Santa Cruz may be one of the leading centers of
intentional backwardness.
